Welcome to CLEANPOWER4Georgians! |
|
- Newly-proposed federal laws would require a proposed coal-fired power plant to pay as much as $70-250 million per year in CO2 compliance costs, ultimately costing the rate-payers.
- The plan claims to contain multiple strategies aimed at promoting energy efficiency, developing renewable energy, optimizing existing power sources, and building new generation resources. But the simple question remains: ARE THEY KEEPING THEIR WORD?

The purpose of this CLEAN Power 4 Georgians web page is to work together to make absolutely sure that all of Georgia knows the facts and are empowered enough to let their EMCs know that we want real energy options and an actual shift towards energy efficiency. A new coal-fired power plant would not only impair our state environmentally, but have serious economic repercussions as well. We want to help give YOU a voice! |
